WWE: Wednesdays Words of Encouragement~Numero cuartro

Hello beautiful people! I hope you have all been smiling so much that your cheeks hurt!
(Wouldn't the be nice!!!)

Today I'd like to express how important it is to surround yourself with motivated people, if you are hoping to succeed. I'd like to focus on the fact that right now there seems to be something brewing in the air like success rising from a buried economy. I can smell it, see it and envision victory when I'm surrounded by people who are talking about triumph just as I am.

It seems like so many of us are trying to recover from a couple bad years or months and have ideas that will elevate us out of those drains. If you are one of these people, then you need to seek others like you because they are out there moving right now!. They are creating websites, starting their own businesses, holding mixers, sharing ideas and hoping to bring their like-minded friends along the ride of renewal.

Don't wait around for your big break to magically appear. You will have one much sooner if you put yourself out there and continue to deliver daily words of encouragement and seek those words as well.

~~You have to not only speak them, but you must hear them too~~

So keep your groups selective and keep your time well spent. Don't waste energy on anyone that is not moving forward, because time is of the essence and time flying is inevitable .
Have a great rest of your work week and don't forget to celebrate YOU this weekend!!!!
xoxo peeps

Wednesdays Words of Encouragement~Numero tres

  Hello and good evening everybody.
This week's WWE is coming a little later than anticipated because honestly, I've been a bit gloomy this week. Just haven't been feeling super energetic and lively and have not been picking up on any topic ideas to write about until today... I realized that if I'm going to promote positivity, I've got to always practice it.

It is so easy to get down in the dumps. Job isn't fulfilling, money isn't coming in, relationships are strained or a million other issues could be going on. But the thing is, rearranging your mind set is really all you need to recover. Sure, it is difficult. Sometimes that seems impossible, but your only other option is to dwell and pout and that option will never get you anywhere.

I tried to come up with some tips and pointers that I focused on today to help me change my attitude

1. Do something that will make you proud of yourself

If you are having a problem with your loved one, talk to them about it in a way that you haven't tried before and might seem more beneficial to the discussion. So many times we don't want to discuss an issue so we go about it in the wrong way, but if you just take a little more time to consider your approach, problems can often be solved or at least improved.

2. For a least a short period of time, do an activity that always lifts your spirits.

Mine would be shopping. Even if I go to the mall with only $20 in my pocket, browsing always makes me happy. What works for you?

3. Call or hang out with someone that is influential and positive

Usually your close friends are these people, but sometimes you might even want to call an old friend that you can always count on and don't even bring up your problems. just let conversation flow naturally and often you will forget about your drab mood.

4. Conquer the issue head on.

If you are jobless, bite the damn bullet and apply, apply, apply and await the responses!

5. Treat yourself minimally

Don't go out and purchase a new 50" t.v., but maybe visit Yogurtland or buy a d.v.d. Find a way to reward yourself on changing your attitude.

Hope this short list can help you in the future and remember, practice what you preach!

Wednesdays Words of Encouragement~Numero dos

Hello and good hump day lovely people.
I hope your week and day has been running along smoothly, but if not, take a moment of silence and start over :) I'll do it with you.

Okay.............here we go.
So, since returning back to the beach, I have been enjoying runs on the sand and many rides around Long Beach on my beach cruiser. That means I have had tons of face-to-face with strangers along my journeys and sure enough, a topic came to mind.
Why is it that so many people walk around foul-faced?

Sure, there are a lot of friendly faces walking around this world, but so many more people choose to frown instead of turning that face upside down and bringing a sense of joy to others. I know many people want to own a sense of personal control so they don't show their emotions, but what shows more confidence than showing a smile, showing that you love life? Nothing.

A smile is really easy to do, especially to a stranger whom you have no reason to not like. At that, a smile to a stranger is almost always well-received and in turn you feel great about doing it. So it's a win-win situation!

I know that I always feel a sense of warmth when a person passing me on the street (or wherever, really) smiles just because they are passing by me and we are inevitably linking energies. I get even more excited (it's momentarily, but still) when the person welcomes a "hello," but says it just to be kind and doesn't want to strike up a conversation. It just comes out of the goodness of their heart. I love that.

Don't you? You have to admit, it's a nice feeling to see someone smile, even if you don't know them. So give it a try, smile to a stranger and then tell me how good you felt!
Ok, you dont have to share it with me, but just share that smile.

Isn't this smile so beautiful???? thanks Hope Lee
