Wednesday's Words of Encouragement Numero Uno~Stay Connected With Your Special Friends

There are so many people in this world that only a minuscule amount of them we know. And out of so many acquaintances, we still only truly connect with a handful or two of those people. Those connections are special, significant and should never be forgotten. It is important to really embrace those people who you vibe with, easily share ideas with and learn while having lots of fun. Those are friends who hold a purpose in your life, don't let them go!

Sometimes, things in all of our lives get complicated and we spend too much time working, playing or loving. We "fail to call, email or write, it ain't nothing personal, you know the love is tight," (Raashan Ahmad from Crown City Rockers) but we have to make sure that too much time doesn't pass before reaching out to those special people. Not that connections are automatically lost due to long lapse in communication, but those are the people that WE must continue to live with because they help bring us to the points in life we need to be at and vice-versa.

Think about it, isn't it awesome to spend some hours with a person you can talk back and forth about so many subjects with and leave them with a smile, while feeling great about yourself. I know everyone feels that about someone. Hopefully some of you are married to that person, but there is usually more than one in your life.

Embrace them. Spend quality time with them. Send them a random text to say something positive, a silly joke or just tell them that they're awesome because that will make their day and they will continue to make yours in the future.

There is a lot of love in this world and the more we spread around, the less hate will settle down and that is beautiful. Let's all attempt to appreciate one another and show special attention to those who appreciate you back, have your back and will never back you up...only progress.
That's all. Shoutouts to my special connections...you know who you are xoxo

My Weekly Wednesday's Words of Encouragement Foreword

I feel blessed to be a person that ponders positivity. I certainly have my down-sides (I was gonna use the word "demons" but that's definitely an unrealistic statement,) but overall it is not difficult for me to find a positive in most situations. C'mon, I'm a type 1 diabetic who says that I appreciate being diabetic because A) It got me out of a lot of trouble in high school and B) It definitely helps me watch my diet. See, I have the disease and it ain't going anywhere, so might as well find some ways to enjoy it.

Anyhow, I've noticed how so many people struggle with maintaining positivity in their life and as someone who thinks life is so much easier when everyone works together, I want to attempt to put my expertise in something progressive out there for others to read and exercise and then maybe it will inspire some of you to do the same! Even if the energy is just put out there, something great is inevitable!

I know all of you have a great aspect to offer others so this can be a great forum to explore those ideas, or...maybe just a great idea. Either way, I encourage us all to find our strengths and put them to good use and spread the knowledge and love around.

Some of you are so great about exercising and really live and believe in the art of healthy living. You have wonderful stories of clarity, triumph and most I know will so gladly share the wonderful benefits of taking care of our blessed bodies.

Other friends and family I have are such hard workers. Ones that wake-up everyday before the sun rises, clock in and just put in work and rarely complain about it. You all just do the damn thing and do it well nearly everyday. I love you kind of people because you could really give me some encouragement to set an alarm clock and stick to it and I'd love to read and talk about how you stay motivated.

Those of you who don't want to yet share your gifts can just give me feedback (and compliments :) and continue to seek a better you everyday by taking recognition of others efforts.

So, that is my intro to a weekly blog series I will be submitting each Wednesday so please help me to follow along, make comments and continue positive thinking!

Ciao!
